Description

Ragamuffin Retreat is an annual gathering of those who want to dive into the deep end of God’s love. The retreat includes worship, teaching, practices, fun and free time to build and deepen friendships and to enjoy the beauty of Fayetteville.

DATES: August 25 – 28, 2022. Check-in is from 3:30-5 pm in Parker Hall with our first event beginning at 7 pm. We will conclude Sunday morning at 10 am. Check out is 11 am

LEADERSHIP: Sessions led by David Leo Schultz, David McCracken, Melissa Hatfield, and Lisa Dawson Pay. Worship led by Matt Liechty. Line-up: Subject to change.

ACCOMODATIONS: We will stay and gather at Mount Sequoyah Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. (https://mountsequoyah.org/) We will gather and meet in Parker Hall. We will lodge in Parker Hall and Hickory Hill. Most rooms will hold 2-4 participants of the same gender. There is a single occupancy option for an additional charge. There are also a limited number of rooms available for no additional charge for married couples per request. While no smoking indoors, there are designated smoking areas on the campus.

MEALS: Retreat participants are on their own for meals. There is a large kitchen in Parker Hall and small kitchen in Hickory Hill participants may use to prepare meals and/or store food. There is a large refrigerator, a microwave, oven and stove. There are also many restaurants nearby accessible by car and ride-sharing options to enjoy on our lunch and dinner breaks.

FREE TIME: There will be free time on Friday and Saturday afternoons to enjoy Fayetteville. Feel free to explore on your own or join together for some hikes, outings, or shopping in downtown Fayetteville. TRAVEL: The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT) in Little Rock and the Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA)in Fayetteville are the state’s two largest airports and collectively offer dozens of daily departures and nonstop service to destinations around the country. Little Rock is about three hours east of Fayetteville. Visit (https://www.flyxna.com/) for information on shuttles, rentals, and rideshare options from the Fayetteville (XNA) airport. The retreat center is 40 minutes from XNA.

The Tulsa International Airport (TUL) is just over 2 hours west of Fayetteville. The Kansas City Airport (MCI) is just over 3 hours north of Fayetteville. 

The retreat center is Mount Sequoyah Center, located at 150 N Skyline Dr, Fayetteville, AR 72701.

OTHER INFORMATION: 

July 20 is the last day to register.

Non-Refundable: Any purchases are non-refundable unless we are forced to cancel the event because of Covid-19 and/or any other unforeseen reasons.

Transfer: You may only transfer your ticket to a person of the same gender due to accomodation planning.

Age: 18+, unless accompanied by an adult. Please note – the content and experience of the retreat is adult in nature, which may include topics, language, etc.

ATTENDEE LIABILITY WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By registering and/or attending the Ragamuffin Retreat, the attendee assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that attendee may experience or incur in connection with attending the Ragamuffin Retreat. Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless Color Green Ministries, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the Ragamuffin Retreat, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Ragamuffin Retreat may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, the attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Color Green Ministries, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the Ragamuffin Retreat.

In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at the Ragamuffin Retreat, attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented by Color Green Ministries, and Mount Sequoyah Center, including, but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all Ragamuffin Retreat attendees.

Please be aware by participating in the Ragamuffin Retreat, you consent to your voice, name, and/or likeness being used, without compensation, in photos, videos, social media postings, and in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, for eternity, and you release Color Green Ministries, its employees, agents, and representatives, from any liability whatsoever of any nature.
